Officials say the precaution follows a pressure loss in the system and offer bleach-disinfection instructions, with updates available through the parish website, social media, and JPALERT texts.
   

2. Jefferson Parish adjusts Mardi Gras rules, aims to boost parade participation (wwltv.com) — Jefferson Parish has tightened Mardi Gras float costume and masking rules while loosening marching club size requirements to keep parades viable. Riders must now be fully costumed and masked, with limited exceptions, and marching groups can be as small as 15 members, changes parish leaders hope will bolster struggling krewes and preserve Carnival traditions locally.
   

3.
