📰 News we're reading

• Holiday shoppers get creative as prices stay high (wwltv.com) — New Orleans families are packing local grocery aisles to pull off Christmas dinners despite higher food prices, leaning on sales, coupons, and careful planning. Shoppers at the Carrollton Rouses say they’re swapping brands and shopping early, but refusing to give up gumbo, greens, and other holiday traditions even as national data shows meat and other staples getting more expensive.

• Titans QB Cam Ward Aims to Keep Building on Recent Success (statenews.net) — New Orleans fans will see the Saints visit Nissan Stadium next as Titans rookie quarterback Cam Ward rides a streak of three straight games with two touchdown passes. Ward just broke the franchise rookie passing record and hopes his improved consistency can carry over against New Orleans, building momentum for Tennessee’s young offense heading into the season’s final stretch.
