Tulane dining team takes home gold in Tulane-Tulsa Chef Battle

On Friday, November 4th, the University of Tulsa faced off once again against Tulane University in their annual "Battle of the Chefs."

On Friday, November 4th, the University of Tulsa faced off once again against Tulane University in their annual “Battle of the Chefs.”

This competition is held yearly around the weekend of the annual Tulane-Tulsa football game.

This year, both the game and competition were held in Tulsa, where the Tulane dining team took home the gold, thanks to Chef Jesse McGee and his fish taco dish.

The winning university holds a trophy, engraved with the year and the winning school, for the next year until the next competition.

This tradition brings together the two schools in a friendly competition, and showcases both schools’ chef and cooking talent, as well as bringing additional excitement to the game weekend.
