Tulane Students Taste The World at International Brunch

Tulane University students enjoy global flavors during the recent international "Around the Wave Brunch" hosted by Tulane Dining by Sodexo

Tulane University students enjoyed flavors from around the globe during the recent international “Around the Wave Brunch" hosted by Tulane Dining Services by Sodexo.

The Commons was transformed into a world food expo which students navigated with mock passports. Each station had a stamp representing the corresponding region of the themed dishes, such as Barcelona and Mexico City.

Tulane Chefs Jason Lebouef and John Pitre created specialty dishes including Beef Top Round Machaca; Charred Lemon Chimichurri; Cuban Black Beans; Fried Plantains; Latin Pork Tenderloin; Guajilio Adobo London Broil; Spicy Teriyaki Sauce; Vegetable Fried Rice; and Scrambled Tofu.

All attendees received airplane stress balls, and students with a passport stamped with four or more different station stamps received a stainless steel commemorative tumbler.
