Investigators from the Maine Fire Marshal's Office say the fire started in a stored boat and then spread, causing damage to another boat and the building.

The owner of the business told Maine's Total Coverage that two boats were destroyed, but that the damage could have been a lot worse. He praised the quick work of firefighters in responding and putting out the fire.

He said they will need to move other boats to other buildings for storage, but that the business is equipped to do that.

No one was hurt in the fire.
