Press release from the Heroes Among Us Program:

Earlier this season, the Boston Celtics and Massachusetts State Lottery named South Berwick, ME native Andy Clark as a "Hero Among Us."

It was business as usual one September morning for hospital security guard, Andy Clark. Clark had approached a vehicle in the parking lot to find that a woman had given birth in the car. Clark saw the newborn’s umbilical cord was wrapped around its neck and had stopped crying. Clark took action, unwrapping the cord from the infant’s neck, saving its life.
