• Maine Water now providing billing and customer service support to Biddeford sewer customers (sacobaynews.com) — Biddeford wastewater customers now need to pay their sewer bills through Maine Water, which has taken over all billing, collections, and customer service from the city. Rates are still set by Biddeford, but questions and payments must go to Maine Water’s systems, phone line, or email instead of City Hall.
   

• Fork Food Lab in South Portland facing foreclosure (pressherald.com) — A South Portland shared kitchen that helped launch Biddeford’s Parlor Ice Cream Co. is now facing foreclosure and could be auctioned on Jan. 28. Fork Food Lab, home to more than 80 small food businesses, is negotiating with its lender to keep the facility open, while member companies brace for potentially limited alternatives if it closes.
