• New outdoor basketball court coming to Cape Elizabeth in spring (pressherald.com) — Cape Elizabeth is getting a new outdoor basketball court near the old Thomas Memorial Library, likely ready once the weather warms up, after the Town Council boosted funding to cover higher construction costs. The project, driven by local nonprofit Cape Hoops, responds to packed gyms, the loss of a Fort Williams court to pickleball, and limited space at the aging “Cage” by the middle school.
