• Driver asleep at wheel crashes into Kennebunkport pet store, police say (newscentermaine.com) — A driver who apparently fell asleep at the wheel crashed into Scalawags Pet Boutique on Spring Street in Kennebunkport Tuesday morning, damaging both the car and storefront but injuring no one. The shop is temporarily closed while the owners clean up, assess structural safety, and work toward reopening, and they’re asking local customers to watch for updates on when they can welcome pets and people back.
