• New construction training program aims to fill Maine's worker shortage (pressherald.com) — A Kittery graduate, now studying construction at Central Maine Community College, is part of a fast-growing program tackling Maine’s shortage of skilled trades workers. The free, four-week immersion and new pre-apprenticeship tracks connect Mainers with certifications, apprenticeships, and real construction jobs across the state. Applications for 2026 programs are already being accepted online.
