• High schools Monday: Winthrop girls basketball rumbles past Lisbon (sunjournal.com) — Lisbon High’s girls fell 60-19 to Winthrop at home Monday, while the Greyhounds’ boys edged Winthrop 63-62 in an overtime thriller led by Owen Hurd’s 27 points. Lisbon athletes also contributed to a co-op girls hockey effort in a busy night of high school sports. 
• Spurwink to expand services to Lewiston (mainebiz.biz) — A new 24/7 behavioral health crisis receiving center is coming to 1155 Lisbon Street in Lewiston, and Lisbon is one of the partner municipalities helping support it. When it opens in mid-2026, the center will offer short-term stabilization, assessment, and connections to ongoing care, giving Lisbon-area residents an alternative to emergency rooms or police involvement during mental health crises.
