Officers also seized a large quantity of cocaine and cash at a related residence. The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are expected, with regional law enforcement agencies assisting.

• Spurwink to expand services to Lewiston (mainebiz.biz) — A new behavioral health crisis receiving center in Lewiston will directly serve Androscoggin County residents, including through partnerships with the Livermore Falls Police Department. Open 24/7 by mid-2026, it aims to divert people in crisis from emergency rooms and jail toward short-term stabilization and follow-up care. The home-like “living room” model has already reduced ER visits in Portland.
