At the same meeting, the board approved nearly $17,400 for critical wastewater equipment repairs, renewed a liquor license for Heritage House, and okayed cribbage games at the Skowhegan-Madison Elks Lodge.
   

• Resentencing in Skowhegan murder delayed due to unfinished paperwork (centralmaine.com) — Resentencing for the man convicted of killing a 20-year-old Skowhegan woman has been pushed to Feb. 17 after prison transport paperwork wasn’t filed in time. Family and friends, some traveling from out of state, were forced to return home without the long-awaited hearing at the Capital Judicial Center in Augusta.
