• Despite state lawsuit, another Maine school district affirms policy banning trans athletes (sunjournal.com) — Turner’s MSAD 52 is one of six Maine school districts being sued over new policies that bar transgender students from using bathrooms or playing on sports teams matching their gender identity. While RSU 24 and RSU 73 have just voted to keep their bans despite the lawsuit, it’s still unclear whether MSAD 52 and the other named districts will change course or stand firm.
