• Wiscasset voters to reconsider sewer plant, public works moves (wiscassetnewspaper.com) — Wiscasset residents will get another say in June on whether to keep relocating the town’s sewer plant to the public works site and move public works to the transfer station, a plan with major cost and flood-risk implications. Selectmen also moved to change “recent” survey rules, accepted an airport committee resignation, and heard thanks from the Sno-Goers snowmobile club.

• Several Subway franchise locations in Maine shut down over registration issues (wgme.com) — The Subway restaurant on Bath Road in Wiscasset was abruptly shut down Wednesday after the state revoked its business registration, leaving employees unpaid and unsure what comes next. The closure is part of a wider shutdown of several MTF Subs-owned Subway locations across Maine while the company works to resolve the issue.
