Aberdeen Man Charged in Counterfeit Check Ring

An Aberdeen man and two Baltimore residents were charged in Pennsylvania.

An Aberdeen man has been charged in connection with a counterfeit check ring in which he and two others are acused of stealing $100,000 from banks in Pennsylvania.

According to ReadingEagle.com, Aberdeen resident Ian Clayton, 36, was charged with theft, conspiracy and related offenses Friday. Wyomissing, PA police arrested Clayton and Baltimore residents Eugene Dargan, 34, and Rodney Blake, 27, after tracking the trio via GPS.

According to the report, Dargan and Blake recruited Clayton to pass the checks for a small payment.
