Amtrak Service Restored After Sunday Delays
The passenger train service experienced delays near Aberdeen Sunday.

Weekend travelers on Amtrak experienced some serious delays around Sunday.
Service was interrupted Sunday morning, but was restored despite delays that carried on into the evening, according to the Amtrak Northeast Corridor Twitter account.Β
The Washington Post reported an overhead power line failed along a bridge near Aberdeen. The Baltimore Sun reported that it was on the bridge that carries passenger cars over the Bush River between Aberdeen and Edgewood.

A diesel engine was brought to pull the passenger train, but some experienced delays of up to three hours.
