Forest Hill won the Harford County District Championship for 11- and 12-year-olds last weekend to earn the right to represent the host county in the Cal Ripken World Series later this summer at the .

Forest Hill came out of the loser's bracket to defeat Hickory twice—by scores of 4-2 and 3-2—on Sunday to win the title at Kelly Field in Bel Air.

Hickory will go on to content for the Maryland title. The state champ will play in the World Series, as well.
