Arson is to blame for a vehicle fire in Perryman early Saturday morning. A four-door 2006 Hyundai burned in the 1400 block of Cranberry Road at 12:07 a.m. Saturday, when the Aberdeen Fire Department quickly extinguished the blaze, the Maryland State Fire Marshal said in a statement. The fire, set intentionally, originated on the exterior of the car, the fire marshal said. It caused $1,500 damage to the car, according to the fire marshal. The Harford County Sheriff's Office assisted with the investigation, the statement said. Anyone with information may contact the Maryland State Fire Marshal at 410-836-4844.
