This Week: IronBirds Opener, Local Fireworks

The school year is officially over. Summer has arrived.

Around here, that means parades, fireworks and cookouts.

And, of course, . The open Monday night on the road, with the home opener Wednesday at .

As for the fireworks: It all starts in Darlington, as the little village kicks off the Independence Day celebrations about a week before anyone else. This year, they're on June 23.
