Spirit Christmas Opening MD Store For 2025 Season

WALDORF, MD — A former DSW shoes store in Maryland will be transformed into Spirit Christmas stores in 2025.

The location is 3009 Waldorf Market Place in Waldorf. The business phone number is 888-526-2169. The transformation will take place in November, officials said.

Spirit Christmas is an offshoot of Spirit Halloween, which has multiple stores across the state.

The Christmas stores are already in the Spirit locator maps.

Parent company Spencer Gifts LLC and Spirit Halloween Superstores LLC last week announced the opening of its 2025 season with 30 locations across the Northeast and Great Lakes regions, nearly quadrupling its footprint from last year.

According to the announcement, Spirit Christmas will feature an "all-new" Peppermint Village, an "immersive in-store experience" with festive decor, unique gifts, holiday apparel, and interactive displays designed to "spark joy and nostalgia."

Spirit Christmas will also feature visits with Santa, hosted in partnership with Cherry Hill Programs, the industry leader in holiday photography. Families will be able to take part in interactive photo sessions, share their holiday wishes directly with Santa, and leave with professionally captured photos.
