Annapolis City Employees Get Snow Day

Pantelides gave all nonessential city employees the option of taking a vacation day on Tuesday without prior approval.

If you drive by City Hall today, don't be surprised to see it locked up tight.

As the city braces for 3-6 inches of snow Tuesday, Mayor Mike Pantelides gave most city employees the option of taking the day off.

Pantelides granted all nonessential city employees a liberal leave day, allowing them to take a vacation day without prior approval from their supervisor, according to city spokeswoman Rhonda Wardlaw.
