Anne Arundel Seeing More Than 6,000 Outages in Storm
Three percent of customers in the county are currently without power.
More than 6,700 Baltimore Gas and Electric customers in Anne Arundel County are without power as of 5:17 p.m. Thursday.
The utility's outage map shows 6,718 customers without power as of 5:25 p.m., three percent of BGE's Anne Arundel County customers and more than half or throughout the utility's service area.
According to the map, more than 1,600 of those outages are in the Annapolis area. The rest of the outages are mostly in smaller pockets across the county.
