Bay Bridge Closes Due to Storms
The closure was announced as storms picked up throughout the Baltimore area.
State transportation officials have suspended two-way traffic on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge due to Thursday's inclement weather.
The move, announced on the Maryland Transportation Authority Twitter feed, is the second advisory for the bridge Thursday. For much of the morning, the bridge was under a wind advisory.
Anne Arundel County remains under a severe thunderstorm watch and flash flood warning.
