Police: Random Late-Night Encounter on Eastport Bridge Ends in Stabbing
Two groups crossed paths in Eastport, during which one man was stabbed, police said.

Annapolis police are searching for suspects involved in a stabbing in Eastport Thursday night that sent one man to the hospital.
Police interviewed the victim of the stabbing at Anne Arundel Medical Center late Thursday. The man, suffering from stab wounds to his abdomen, initially told police that he fell on a sharp object.
However, he later told police that he and a group of friends were crossing the Eastport Bridge earlier that night when they encountered another group walking toward them.
The two groups exchanged words, and when they passed each other, "neither group gave ground," police said. After the groups parted, the victim realized he had been stabbed.
No description was offered in the report of the suspects.
