Food Hall Opening Soon In Anne Arundel County
A food hall is opening soon in Anne Arundel County. This continues a business boom in one of the area's busiest commercial districts.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — A food hall is opening soon in Annapolis.
Wonder will debut in Beacon Square, a new development across from the Annapolis Town Center, in February.
Wonder has food prepared on site for takeout and dine-in. The business also partners with nearby restaurants to offer their menus via the Wonder platform.

The offerings and partner restaurants planned for the Annapolis location have not yet been announced.
The food hall will be located at 2496 Riva Road. Wonder also has a location in Baltimore's Canton Crossing.

Beacon Square has welcomed several new tenants during its few years in operation. Over 500 apartments are available in the Avalon complex on site.
Businesses already open include:
- Cold Stone Creamery
- Firebirds Wood Fired Grill
- Arhaus (Furniture store)
- Visual Comfort & Co. (Lighting fixture store)
- Meg Fox Aesthetics (Medical spa)
- GNC (Supplement store)
- Moby Dick House of Kabob
- Jersey Mike's Subs
- Aspen Dental
The center also built a grocery store that currently is vacant. There is not yet any word on which supermarket will move in or when it may open.
The neighborhood of Parole has seen plenty of development in recent years.
A block away, the Shoppes at Riva replaced a vacant six-story building at the intersection of Riva Road and Holiday Court.
The shopping center now features:
- Aldi (Grocery store)
- Honeygrow (Stir-fry and salad restaurant)
- Quickway Japanese Hibachi
- Thrive Nails and Spa
- Salon Lofts (Beauty studios)
Naz's Halal is also opening a restaurant soon in the development.
More apartments are under construction at the Riva Road entrance to the Annapolis Town Center.
Greystar, a South Carolina-based developer, is building a 175-unit complex across from J. Alexander's Restaurant. The apartments are marketed as an "active adult" community for residents aged 55 and up.
The development will span 2.17 acres at 1900 Towne Center Blvd. It will have a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom units.
The five-story building will include a library room, club room, amenity kitchen, fitness and movement studio, pet spa, pool and exterior courtyard.
