Glen Burnie Crash Kills Bowie Man, 28: Police

A Glen Burnie car crash killed a Bowie man, police said. He was 28 years old.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A Bowie man died after a Monday crash in Glen Burnie, police said.

Officers identified the victim as Jonathan William Fowler, 28.

Authorities said they were called around 8:30 p.m. to Ritchie Highway at W. Ordnance Road for a single-vehicle wreck.

Police said a 2025 Kia K4 sedan was traveling south on Ritchie Highway in the right turn lane when it left the roadway and hit a telephone pole on W. Ordnance Road.

A press release said medics took the driver to the University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, where he died.

Officers are still investigating.
