Meet the Author at the Museum: Thomas Guay

Join us at the Museum of Historic Annapolis for a special program and discover the story behind Chesapeake Bound, An Annapolis Novel.

Meet author Thomas Guay and explore why Great Britian lost it’s American colonies through his new historical novel, Chesapeake Bound: a vivid tale of adventure, rebellion, and new beginnings in colonial Maryland.
Mr. Guay will perform fiddle tunes featured in the novel. Following a short reading, enjoy a Q&A session and book signing with the author.
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to experience history, music, and storytelling!
Advance registration recommended; space is limited. Admission fee includes entry to the Museum of Historic Annapolis. Books will be available for sale at the event.
Cost: $7 for General Admission (ages 8 and up); Free for Children 7 and under

About Our Presenter: Thomas Guay holds a communications degree with a double major in history from the University of Maryland. After an early career as a Capitol Hill reporter, he turned his focus to colonial history. He has since served as a host at the Charles Carroll House in Annapolis, worked as a colonial reenactor, and led tours at several historic homes. A resident of Annapolis, Maryland, Guay also performs traditional fiddle tunes with the popular local group, The Eastport Oyster Boys.
