Childhood Friends Open Upscale Indoor Golf Facility In Annapolis

ANNAPOLIS, MD — An indoor golf club announced its opening last Friday in the Annapolis Technology Park just off Riva Road. With immersive simulators, Old Line Golf Club members can play virtual rounds on over 350 courses from around the world.

Owners Kyle and Carolyn McDonnell and their partners, Kevin and Vicky Kelly, are longtime Annapolis residents. Kyle McDonnell and Kevin Kelly are childhood friends and have golfed together for over 20 years. Kevin Kelly is also a member of The Cannon Club, a country club in Lothian.

"With my background in hospitality, my goal is to create a space where discerning Annapolis golfers can gather and connect within the local community. I want Old Line to be a hyperlocal, upscale club that fosters both camaraderie and excellence in the game," Kyle McDonnell said in a press release.

Old Line Golf Club spans 2,760 square feet at 302 Harry S. Truman Parkway, Suite E.

The facility features Trackman simulators, 4K resolution, immersive 3D audio and advanced performance analytics. There are no initiation fees, and there's unlimited bay time for members.

"When we look at our prospective clientele, many of them are country club members, or they would be if it weren't for steep initiation fees and long commutes to some of the clubs around here," Kyle McDonnell told the Baltimore Business Journal.

The BBJ reported that there are three golf bays, a 200-square-foot putting green and a lounge.

Old Line is situated behind CVS and sandwiched between TW Perry and SalonCentric. The golf club is located a few doors down from InGrano Bistro Bakery.

St. John Properties owns the office park. Eric Lewellyn represented the landlord, while George Shenas and Collin Mercier of Hyatt Commercial represented Old Line in securing the lease.
