Pixar Sponsors Adoption Fees For Anne Arundel County SPCA Dog
Kala was selected as the "Coco" Dog of the Week. Disney Pixar will sponsor the pup's adoption and send her home with a basket of supplies.

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD – In honor of their new animated movie Coco, Disney Pixar is sponsoring Kala's adoption through the SPCA of Anne Arundel County. The pit bull/terrier mix was selected as the Coco Dog of the Week in order to find her the perfect forever home, hopefully in time for Thanksgiving. Disney Pixar wants to send Kala off to live with her new loving family set with a basket of supplies, including four tickets to see Coco in theaters starting Nov. 22.
The pretty pup's profile on Petango read, "It's a mystery why Kala is still searching for her forever home. One look in her sweet eyes says it all: she is ultra-lovable! At seven years old, Kala is the perfect mix of easy-going energy and excitement - content to sit while you read to her or go for a trek through the neighborhood. Gentle and kind, she loves to be pet and loves toys. Kala would adore being the center of attention as the only pet in the home. She's an absolute beauty with a warm heart and kind soul looking for love. Are you her forever person?"

Kala's not the first pooch Disney Pixar treated to a Coco inspired surprise. In August, Pixar Animation Studios invited a real-life Dante the Mexican hairless dog to explore the studios. You can take a look at his adventure in the video below.
