Police: Kindle, Wine Taken From Car

Annapolis police also reported a second theft from a vehicle and an auto theft over the weekend.

A Kindle reader and a bottle of wine were taken from a vehicle in Annapolis over the weekend.

Annapolis police say the theft occurred in the 500 block of Second Street between 8:30 p.m. Saturday and 6 a.m. Sunday. Someone smashed the passenger side window and took the items, according to police.

In the 500 block of Burnside Street, a woman called police at 1:30 a.m. Saturday. She reported seeing a man inside her unlocked car. She confronted him and the man ran down Chester Avenue. Nothing was reported missing, according to police.

In the 1300 block of Stonecreek Drive, a 1994 Toyota Camry was taken from a driveway between 10:30 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Saturday. The owner later found the car off Taylor Avenue. Police said there were no signs of damage or forced entry.
