Police: Men Robbed, 1 Struck with Bat

In a separate incident, guitars were taken from a Spa Road home.

Annapolis police say a man was hit with a baseball bat during a robbery late Wednesday.

The robbery happened on Forest Drive near Center Street at 11:40 p.m. Two men walking were approached by three robbers. One implied that he had a handgun, while another demanded money. The three assaulted the men and one of the victims was struck in the face with the bat, according to police. 

The robbers took a wallet from one man and a cell phone from the other.

In a separate incident in the unit block of Spa Road between 10:30 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, someone took a window air conditioning unit from a ground floor window. A 2010 Taylor acoustic six string guitar in a brown case and a red Les Paul Epiphone electric guitar in a black case were also taken from the home.

Between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Wednesday, someone took a screen from an open window in a ground floor apartment in the 1100 block of Cove Road and took jewelry and money.
