'From Enemies to Allies' will bring scholars together from the U.S., Canada and the United Kingdom to talk about the historic war.

The Naval Academy will host a symposium this week on the War of 1812, featuring scholars from the U.S., Canada and United Kingdom.
"From Enemies to Allies" starts Wednesday and runs through Saturday and will include a tour of Maryland's War of 1812 history, and talks and presentations about the war's impact.
“This is the conference on the War of 1812 in the U.S.,” William Dudley, an Easton resident and historian who is on the program committee, told The Capital Gazette.
