Sunday Morning Fire Displaces Annapolis Family

A Lindamoor home sustained serious damages and two adults have been displaced following a Memorial Day weekend fire.

Anne Arundel County fire officials are investigating the cause of a fire that left one Annapolis family without a home early Sunday morning.

Crews responded around 10:30 a.m. on May 26 to a home on the 1900 block of Sleepy Hollow Lane in the Lindamoor neighborhood of Annapolis, according to a news release from Division Chief Keith D. Swindle.

No injuries were reported, though the Red Cross was assisting two adults who were displaced by the fire, Swindle wrote.

It took approximately 50 minutes for 44 firefighters to extinguish the blaze in the two-story home, which sustained $300,000 in damages, according to Swindle.
