With Students Away, AACC Upgrades Tech

Emails sent during the downtime will be stored and retrieved once upgrades are complete, according to a release.

While students at Anne Arundel Community College are away from campus on winter break, staff are making some much-needed upgrades to the school's technologies.

The IT infrastructure across the campus is being upgraded, starting with the email services. Doing these kinds of upgrades would be difficult with school still in session, according to a press release.

"The entire AACC email system will be shut down Dec. 27-31. If you send anything to during that time, it will be stored and then able for us to view when the system is restored," according to the release.

The Arnold campus will open back up on Jan. 2.
