The Baltimore Orioles host the Detroit Tigers for a three-game set. Detroit's Max Scherzer will take the mound against Baltimore's Miguel Gonzalez on Friday, with Justin Verlander and Jason Hammel on Saturday and Rick Porcello against rookie Kevin Gausman on Sunday. All starters are projected as of Wednesday.

A Taste of Two Cities, the Baltimore-Washington food truck battle, returns for another year. This year's competition will be held at Rash Field, near the Maryland Science Center, from noon to 9 p.m.
At Prince George's Stadium, NFL players including Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith (Maryland) will take the field for a softball game, with proceeds benefiting Wounded Warrior organizations, the Yellow Ribbon Fund and the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team (who will face the NFL stars).
