2 to 4 Inches of Snow, Sleet Possible in Anne Arundel Tuesday

If Sunday's wintry weather wasn't enough for you, mother nature has a second round of weather in store for Anne Arundel County Tuesday.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Anne Arundel from 3 a.m. Tuesday to 2 p.m. Tuesday, calling for a 100 percent chance of snow or sleet, with possible accumulations of two to four inches.

Highs Monday are expected to reach the low 40s, with more rain expected before noon. Temperatures will drop to 30 degrees overnight, with a 30 percent chance of snow, freezing rain and sleet, though little to no accumulation is expected.

On Tuesday, snow, freezing rain and sleet are expected in the morning, turning to all snow before noon and then gradually tapering off. There's a 100 percent chance of a wintry mix Tuesday night, and temperatures will drop down into the mid 20s. Little to no ice accumulation is expected, but snow and sleet totals may reach two to four inches. 

Skies should be clear and sunny Wednesday, with highs around 37 degrees, though temps will plummet into the low 20s Wednesday night.
