
Anne Arundel County officials announced Thursday that all cooling centers are open Thursday and Friday.
All county senior centers, libraries and police district community rooms will serve as cooling centers, according to a release.
A heat advisory is in effect through 7 p.m. Thursday evening.

Senior centers will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Libraries are open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, and police community rooms are open at all hours, according to a release.
Anyone who needs transportation is asked to call the county's department of aging at 410-222-4826 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
