Husband Charged After Woman Found Dead In Anne Arundel County

BROOKLYN PARK, MD — A Baltimore man is facing murder charges after police found his wife dead in Anne Arundel County on Friday.

Shortly after 9 a.m., police responded to a report of a dead body on the ground in the area of Disney Road and Alley 79 in Brooklyn Park. When police arrived, they found a deceased woman with apparent trauma to her body.

The woman was later identified as 44-year-old Sarah Elizabeth Bundy of Baltimore. Her body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for an autopsy, police said.

Homicide detectives responded to the crime scene and collected several pieces of evidence. Following their initial investigation, detectives identified the suspect as Bundy's husband, 49-year-old Cedric Dion Calloway of Baltimore.

Authorities issued a warrant for Calloway's arrest and took him into custody on Friday.
