Body Found In Water In Annapolis: What We Know
A body was found in the water near an Annapolis boat ramp. Officials are trying to identify the deceased. Here's what we know.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — A body was found in the water over the weekend in Annapolis, police said.
Officers have not identified the person, but they think the body is that of an adult male. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the person's identity and cause of death.
The Annapolis Harbormaster found the body in Spa Creek near the Truxtun Park boat ramp, a press release said.

Authorities said acting Harbormaster Tyler Northfield was docking his boat Friday around 5:30 p.m. when he saw the body under a pier, the Capital Gazette reported.
The Annapolis Police Department was called to investigate.

The Capital Gazette said the Annapolis Fire Department removed the body from the water, and the Maryland Department of Natural Resources also responded.
