Car Crashes Into Annapolis Barbershop

A car crashed into an Annapolis barbershop. The wreck displaced several residents living on the second floor, firefighters said.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — A car crashed into the Eastport Barber Shop in Annapolis on Wednesday, firefighters said.

Crews said an inspector condemned the building, displacing seven residents who lived on the second floor. The American Red Cross will assist them.

Nobody was hurt.

The Annapolis Fire Department announced at 3:05 p.m. that it was responding to the crash in the 900 block of Bay Ridge Avenue. The scene was cleared about half an hour later.

The intersection of Bay Ridge Avenue and Adams Street was closed briefly.
