Chesapeake's Performance Solid at 2011 AACPS Wrestling Championships

The school placed sixth out of 12 competitors, including several first and second place rankings.

Chesapeake High solidly placed in the middle of the pack at the 2011 AACPS Wrestling Championship last week, including several second and first place rankings.

All in all, Chesapeake placed sixth out of 12 schools with 121 points. South River High School led the competition with 190.5 points, followed by Old Mill, Broadneck, Arundel and North County.

Top performers from Chesapeake included Jeremy Morrow who placed second in the 105-pound class and has a year to date record of 31-4, Alex Rice who placed first in the 137-pound class and has a record of 32-2 and Stephen Spinnenweber who placed second in the 142-pound class and has record of 33-3.
