Curbside Trash Collection Delayed on Memorial Day

Trash collection that would have taken place on May 30 will instead take place on May 31.

According to information from Anne Arundel County Waste Management Services, there will be no curbside collection of recyclables, yard waste or trash on Monday, May 30 in observance of Memorial Day.  Collections normally made on Monday will be made on Tuesday, and collections normally made on Tuesday will be made on Wednesday.

The county adds that all county recycling and waste facilities and Waste Management Services administrative offices will be open on Saturday, May 28.  However, they will all be closed on Friday, May 27, Sunday, May 29 and Monday, May 30.  All County facilities will reopen on Tuesday, May 31.

Friday, May 27
Curbside collections will occur as normal.
All Waste Management Services facilities will be closed.

Saturday, May 28
No curbside collection.
All Waste Management Services facilities will be open.

Sunday, May 29
No curbside collection.
All Waste Management Services Facilities will be closed.

Monday, May 30
No curbside collection.
All Waste Management Services Facilities will be closed.

Tuesday, May 31
Recycling and trash facilities reopen.
Collection services resume.

IMPORTANT CURBSIDE COLLECTION INFORMATION:  Curbside collections normally scheduled for Monday, May 30 will occur on Tuesday, May 31 and collections normally scheduled for Tuesday will occur on Wednesday, June 1.  Curbside collections for Thursday and Friday will occur as normal.
