Police: Dwyer Involved in Traffic Accident in Pasadena, Not at Fault
A woman ran a red light and struck Dwyer's car, police said.

Delegate Don Dwyer Jr. suffered minor injuries in a car accident in Pasadena Tuesday morning where another driver was cited for causing the accident, police said.
Dwyer's vehicle was struck by a Chevrolet Camaro driven by a Glen Burnie woman. At about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, the woman attempted to turn through a red light from Route 100 onto Magothy Bridge Road, and into the path of Dwyer's Cadillac Deville, police said.Â
The woman was cited by police for failing to control speed to avoid collision, and failure to obey a traffic control device, penalties totaling $260.
Neither driver required medical treatment at the scene, but The Capital reported that Dwyer's attorney said his client later sought treatment for minor injuries.Â
Dwyer's vehicle was towed, because it could not be driven from the scene of the accident, police said.
Dwyer was recently sentenced to serve 60 days in jail for being drunk while driving a boat, and drunk while driving a car in two separate incidents nearly a year apart. He is set to begin serving time in jail on weekends beginning Nov. 9.
