UPDATE: Pasadena Man Charged with Murder in Wife's Death

UPDATE: The suspect has been identified as Stephen Richard Salb, 56, of Pasadena. Salb is being charged with first degree murder, second degree murder, first degree assault and second degree assault. The victim was identified as his wife, Jill Ann Salb, 38, of Pasadena.

One man was arrested Wednesday morning in relation to a homicide that arose from a domestic violence incident on the 7700 block of Jones Drive in Pasadena. 

Officers arrived at the scene at around 5 a.m. where they found a 38-year-old female victim suffering from lacerations to her upper body. She was transported by fire department personnel to Baltimore Washington Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead around 6 a.m at the hospital.

Another adult female victim was taken to Baltimore Washington Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Upon investigation, officers said that the suspect assaulted his wife inside their home. When the victim's daughter intervened she was also injured.

The investigation is ongoing, according to police.
