Job of the Week: Medical Laboratory Assistant

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a medical laboratory assistant in the Pasadena area. This position involves following established procedures for sample collection, processing and treatment, instructing members on other specimen collections, assisting with lab requests and instrument maintenance and working closely with supervisors.

Applicants require at least one year of experience working in a clincal environment which includes laboratory testing, phlebotomy and specimen processing. They also require their high school degree, completion of an MLA course at an accredited college or university and passing an internal MLA competency exam.
