Mad Science Conducts Experiments at Mountain Road and Riviera Beach Libraries
The educational aid organization sends representatives around the area to encourage children's interests in science.
Kids from around the Pasadena area enjoyed a science demonstration at Mountain Road Library on Thursday with the help of Casey Nolan, Operations Director of Mad Science Central Maryland, a company that offers educational aids and activities.
Nolan exhibited a variety of scientific wonders such as the myriad uses of dry ice and carbon dioxide. She also invited the audience to join her in several of the experiments. Around forty children and parents were in attendance for the demonstration.
"We try to make science fun for kids," said Nolan. "I've never seen a bad reaction from kids to our demonstrations and we always try to give them time to ask questions, see experiments again and so on."
