What's Closed for Memorial Day?

Memorial Day on Monday is a federal holiday. Schools, banks and county government offices are closed. Here are the other closures to keep in mind.

Landfills and convenience centers: closed

Curbside trash collection: not in service

Annapolis trash pickup: If your normal collection date would be Monday, collection will occur on Tuesday. If collection would occur on Tuesday, next week's collection will happen on Wednesday.

Senior centers: closed

Parks: open

Maryland Transit Administration: No MARC or commuter bus service (except on route 201). Local buses, Light Rail and Metro Subway on holiday schedule.

Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority: Routes B-29 (Crofton to New Carrolton) and B-30 (BWI Airport to Greenbelt) will operate on Sunday schedules.

Annapolis transit: Regular service

Anne Arundel County Public Library: closed

Courts: closed
