MinuteClinic Brings Quick, Affordable Medical Care to Pasadena
The clinic, which works in partnership with CVS, opened its doors in Pasadena in September.

Pasadena residents have another option available for health care since MinuteClinic has come to town in September.
MinuteClinic, a clinic that works in partnership with CVS Pharmacy, provides quick and inexpensive health care and treatment. The company was acquired by CVS in 2006.
"We treat all the basic things," said Davies. "We do minor exams, some injuries and many skin problems. We focus a lot on wellness and prevention. We also do health screenings and some vaccinations."

Davies added that for more serious illnesses that would require emergency care, patients need to call 911.
"We don't do automobile accidents, broken bones, severe lacerations or other more serious injures," said Davies. "For common everyday things, though, we try to help relieve the congestion that's in the urgent care centers as well as emergency rooms in a lot of hospitals."

Davies said that the decision to open MinuteClinic in Pasadena was made after extensive research.
"We try to research the areas where we put our MinuteClinics based on the idea that there's a need in the community for it," said Davies.
MinuteClinic accepts a variety of insurance options as well as cash and credit. Other clinics in Anne Arundel County are available in Annapolis, Crofton, Edgewater and Millersville.
