Miss Anne Arundel Crowned in Multiple Age Groups

There are some new local beauty queens: Monique Sparks is Miss Anne Arundel County, teen winner is Brianna George and pre-teen winner is Laney Puhalla.

Monique will be competing in June to become Miss Maryland; she is up for a $10,000 scholarship and the opportunity to represent Maryland at Miss America in September.

Brianna will be competing in June to become Miss Maryland's Outstanding Teen and for the opportunity to travel to Florida in August to compete for the title of Miss America's Outstanding Teen.

Laney will be competing in May to become Miss Maryland's Outstanding Pre-Teen.
